Gorgeous 80 acre farm scheduled for auction in the Drift-less Region in southwest Wisconsin. Ridge, forest, trails, pasture, tillable, a year round crick, river access and lots of wildlife complement this land. The valley is south facing and has amazing views in all directions. Very private.
No chemicals have been utilized in at least 5 years, making this farm eligible for organic transition. There is a huge selection of wild herbs and edibles, including asparagus, nettles, mint, watercress, several types of berries, goldenrod, ginseng and much more.
This farm has a full complement of buildings, including a dairy barn, a fixer-upper farm house, tobacco shed, corn crib, 2 car garage and a very nice machine shed of considerable size. (Machine shed can be seen above. I don't have another good photo) There are 2 working wells.
Most of the property is already fenced for cattle and the barn is fairly clean and only needs a few small repairs to be ready for animals. The fields are currently in mixed hay. There has been no livestock on the property and no hunting permitted for the past 5 years. Check out the game camera page!
