Dolly-Rock Farm CSA 2011 CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. CSA's give people the opportunity to buy shares in meats or produce from local farm families. This decreases the carbon footprint on this one and only earth, and supports local business. In return, the share holder is guaranteed a varied selection of meats or produce that they can enjoy without the hassle and uncertainty or the grocery store. Knowing where your food comes allows for a more educated choice for your family, the community and the world. For 2011, Dolly-Rock Farm is offering a 6-month MEAT ONLY CSA. The monthly offerings will include a varied selection of beef, pork, and chicken or rabbit as is available. Currently, all packages are to be picked up at the farm. As time goes by, there is a possibility of pick-up points in Sheboygan and north-central Appleton. Package choices are as follows: Small Pack 10-12# mixed meats + 1 dozen eggs $420.00 (2 installments of $210) Regular Pack 20-23# mixed meats + 2 dozen eggs $780.00 (3 installments of $260) Mega Pack 35-38# mixed meats + 4 dozen eggs $1350.00 (3 installments of $450) Installments due on June 1st, July 1st and September 1st Selection could be anything we have in stock. Check our price page for a list of what we carry. The boxes will typically be anywhere from 40-55% ground meats and the rest fancy cuts.
