Our cows are born, raised and
finished on our pastures, with our
hay.  No grain, no chemicals, no
hormones.  They stay outside all the
time, and are rotated onto fresh green
pastures once or twice a day,
depending on the time of year.

.  You won't find that
at any store.  Call your local butcher
and ask for the ingredients in the ham
cure. You might be surprised!

In the fall/winter, we finish on apples
and squash, for a hint of a unique flavor
in the meat.  They take longer to reach
butchering weight this way, but it is
worth it.  The pigs are leaner, happier,

Our birds run where they
please, and eat what they
want.  We offer a grain mix to
keep them home, and there is
a coop for them to lay in and
perch at night out of the
weather.  We shut the doors
after dark to keep the foxes
out.

Supply is limited in the
winter, first come first served.

Grass-finished Rabbit

The rabbits destined for the
butcher spend most of their life
on the grass.  We have
'tractors', or small hoop houses
for them to be in.  The tractors
get moved daily so the bunnies
always have fresh grass and
weeds to browse on.

This allows a delicious
grass-fed meat, without the
gamey flavor.

--Info for ordering quarters or halves--
We also offer quarters and halves of beef, and halves, or whole pigs.
Quarters and sides of beef are only available when we butcher.  Call for
more information on when we can have one ready. Timing depends on the
quantity and time of year.

Current fees are as follows:
Carcass hanging weight for beef: $3.00 per pound for front quarter
$3.50 per pound for rear quarter
Carcass hanging weight for pork: $2.75 per pound

All butchering and processing fees are extra.  They average $0.75 to $1.00
per pound for beef, and $1.00 to 1.50 per pound for pork, depending on
the types of cuts you choose.

When you order, a 25% non-refundable deposit is required before we send
the animal to the butcher.  The finished product will be brought back to
our farm for you to pick up.
